Code Red West Wildwood
The Borough of West Wildwood now has an operational Code Red Emergency Notification System. Contact information has been transferred from the old system, however there may have been contacts lost when Code Red restored their system after the November 2025 hack incident. The following instructions are how you set up a portal account and enter your contact information into the new system. If you have gotten the recent West Wildwood messages that were sent starting on February 20th you do not need to do anything. If you have not or would like to add alternate methods of message delivery (email, text) then do the following steps.
To set up an account go to the link accountportal.onsolve.net/westwildwood and in the area that says, “Need an account”, click on the “register” button. Then type in your First Name, Last name, Username (make your own) and create a password. Then click the box “I have read, understand and agree to the policy ” (after you have read the policy). Then check the box that you are not a robot and click on “Next”.
You now have a portal account and can start entering your contact information. The first couple entries ask you to enter your name, language and time zone. The only language choice is English. The time zone is Eastern North America.
The next section is the device details. The only required device is a mobile phone entry. If you do not have a mobile phone just enter your home phone number.
To add additional devices, click on “add device”. The screen will default to “add an email”, but you can change that by clicking on the down arrow next to email. The other choices are SMS and Voice. SMS is text message notification. Use your mobile phone number for SMS. Voice is to add additional phones. You can change the label to home phone or mobile phone.
Then once you have all your devices set up, scroll down and click on add West Wildwood address and on the map screen, where it says add location you can just type in your address. Then hit “add”.
The last section is “groups”. The only choice will be West Wildwood group. Just make sure that is checked.
The last step is to click “Save”.
Congratulations, you have now successfully set up your personal portal for managing your notifications from the West Wildwood Code Red System. If you ever need to change your contact information just log in again and make the necessary updates.
